Resuscitators
are for use as a device for artificial ventilation
and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
-
The
resuscitator is used to ventilate the apnea
patients or used for the spontaneously breathing
patients to augment ventilation and/or oxygen
delivery.
-
It
also can deliver supplemental oxygen when
it is connected with an oxygen supply source.
The oxygen concentration delivery depends
upon the oxygen flow rate, tidal volume, ventilation
rate and operative technique.
-
Resuscitators
and accessories are: Mask, Patient Valve,
Silicone Bag and Oxygen Reservoir, Oxygen
tubing and Airways.
-
The
Patient Valve is equipped with a pressure
relied valve which vents the delivered breath
to atmosphere. The operator may override the
pressure relief valve if a higher delivery
of pressure is required.
-
It
is easy to disassemble and assemble all the
parts of the resuscitator for cleaning and
sterilizing.
